God.. I need You

Today while I was reading some of the blogs out there, I was stumbled upon this beautiful blog Rare & Beautiful Treasures and I read about how God is very much involved in the paths of their life. I want that. I yearn for it..

God, I know You are there for me, whenever I turn my head and You are there whenever I ask for Your guidance.
I want You to be there again, be part of my life.. one more time.. when all of member of my family, especially my parents and my dear husband, praise and glorified Your name.
I want all of them to be able to see how wonderful it is to have You as their God. As I know You are. I pray for it to happen sooner than later.
Thank You Lord Jesus, in Your name I pray...

DIY - Patterned Shelves in my Wardrobe!

I did this DIY last weekend, using a hamper wrapper that has nice patterns. The hamper is a gift from my workplace when I gave birth to little Chloe so the cost of doing this DIY thing is S$0.00. FREE. yay!

I see the nice looking patterns on the wrapper and thinking that it will be such a waste to just tear and throw it into dustbin, so I came up with an idea. All I need is some doubletapes (which I have) and did some cuttings and make sure I did it nicely because I only have a limited size of the paper.

Turns out it looks very nice. I love it so much. What DIY things that you had in mind this weekend?

The other day, we all went to a mall nearby our house and I went in to this store selling all the hairpins & accessories. I imagined my Chloe having the fake curly hair.
This is what I think she will say seeing from her look. LOL

Time to move on

Last Friday I went for interview and yesterday I got the offer. I am so happy yet abit worried. Worried that it might miss out on my Chloe's childhood. I want to be with her all the time, but for now I need to do my best to bring the dough to our house. I want to make sure I can provide Chloe's needs. Just like this quote I found the other day when I surf some blogs





Last Saturday I went to Bugis with small B' and on journey home we took MRT and she gave me this look. I wondered what she had in mind, maybe she doesn't like her mum always taking pictures of her? hehe.

Daddy bought Ipad2 for baby Chloe!

After so many months talking about buying Ipad2 for baby Chloe, finally my dear husband ordered it online. It arrived yesterday.



We also bought pink cover for her.

We went to watch badminton Open last Saturday and Sunday and we brought along Chloe. She is very good as in only cried awhile cos she wanna sleep. But for 5 hours watching the competition she is not complaining much.

Updating my life on the blog

Well... after so long absent from this blog now I feel the time to catch it up again. So many things has happened since last time I wrote here.

First of all :

1. I am a mum now to a beautiful baby girl, I named her Chloe. My sweet little baby, so adorable. Here she is with her grandma. She is 3 months old now.

2. My big purchases so far (from Jan'11-now) : a camera Canon D550, a sewing machine Brother BM2600, stroller Mclaren TechnoXT.

3. My brother in law (from H's side) is married now, and his wife is Cambodian. Well, they are currently staying with us now. I pray for them to faster get a house and move on.

4. I got 4 mth maternity leave and just started back to work last week. Very tired. but happy mum :P

5. My H got a job with good salary but quite demanding hours. At least we are back on saving mode after so many years living on just 1 income. So happy!

So many little things happened this past half year but I want to focus on the positive ones rather than the opposites. God, please help me thru this journey of life. I know it is not easy, but with Your Grace I will survive all.

Chloe's 1mths celebration!

Today Chloe is 1 month old and we are celebrating it with my families and friends. Here are some photos of the occasions.I made the 'thank you gift' and also the blackforest cake the day before :)
We are having a good day! Thank You God for giving us Chloe! She is so sweet.Some of Chloe's gifts..I still remember that not so long ago I was praying for baby... and for almost 2 years I kept waiting and waiting..... finally... God, You answered me in the perfect timing. (Xinlong finished his studies and just start working) and

You give me this sweet little angel -Chloe-.
I am very blessed.

End of year 2010!

Today my pregnancy is coming to 31 weeks. So long since i blog about it, and so many things has happened. My hubby finally finished his studies in november and got a job in a small audit firm company, he is still looking for better company like the big 4. He make a pledge to donate some money if he gets into the big 4. And I know that God really loves us. He made everything possible. We just need to be patient.

These few weeks we also been able to make some money thru part time job. Finally our savings got increased and I am so happy. I also got my AWS (13th mth salary) so all add up and I can feel relieved once more. Hopefully the coming year will be an abundant year for us financially and spiritually.

God, let us be a happy person and guide us thru our daily lives. Make us be more grateful with what we have, and be a better person and also to becme a good parents for our little one.

My resolutions for 2011 are :
- be more patient and loving wife
- eat healthier and get more exercise
- be a good parent
- try to be a good daughter in law
- make progress in our financial (save more, spend less)
- no biting nails? (this is my resolution from 2000 and till now still hasn't resolved.. yet)

God, please help me to fulfill my resolutions.
